I am very new to this and will create a better blog page soon. I have been reading Kistenscraetions and carolinapanache and so many more for months. I though it was time to start one of my own.
Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures soon.
Untill then,
God Bless...
Cathy

  1. My name is cathy and I live in California...I live in the Ville...Victorville. We are in the high desert. I am not real fond of this place but I do call it home. We have a beautiful house and have alot of wonderful neighbors.
The sunsets here are beautiful. That was one thing my son loved. When we first moved here 10 years ago I thought I wouldn't make it a day. I am a city girl who loves shoping, and the beach. Not alot of shoping and the beach is 2 hours away. I thought I would make it work though. Just when I thought I had it all figured out. My 16 year old son Jeremy was diagnosed with Brain Cancer. We spent 11 months in Loma Linda Childrens Hospital. He only got to come home twice out of the eleven months. He passed away in August of 2000.
My world was turned upside down and I could not understand why God would take such a good boy.
His dream was to attend USC and major in jounalisim and Spots Brodcasting. He started to read the sports section when he was 3 years old and knew every stat of the Angels baseball team. Pretty impresive. He was so smart. His goal was to excell and enjoy his Senior year. He left his Junior year with a 4.3 GPA. Never to return to his Senior year.
I know that God had a plan for him and that one day when he is in my arms again I will understand it. But, it really won't matter then. I just have to trust in my savior and walk in faith. I WILL see him again. Only this time it will be forever!!!
I have a daughter Danielle who is 23 and her and her wonderful husbund Jeffrey gave us our first grandson..."JEREMY" He is 22 months old. He is the light of my whole life. She is now pregnant with another blessing due Christmas Eve.

I enjoy spending time with my family.
I have an AMAZING husbund...Marty who is a gift from God. He is my rock and keeps me going through what I call my Moments...(Those are times when I have a melt down and want to hold my son just for a minute.) He has a way of reminding me that I will have that time when my work here is done!

All in all I have a wonderful life. My son is deep in my heart and my memory, and I have to remember that I was blessed with 17 wonderful years with him!!!
I love my grandson with every part of my being. We are so close.
I look forward to what life has to offer and what God has planned for my family and I.

In the meantime I will continue to pray for peace, not only for myself, but for all the parents who have lost a child and know the lasting pain that hangs in your heart.

God bless all who have visted today.
